Bringing mobile services to where the needs are

Mental Health Centres

We are fully licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care to provide mobile x-ray and ultrasound services to mental health facilities in Ontario. Our personalized service, utilization of the most advanced equipment and our professional staff make StL Diagnostic Imaging the premier mobile imaging service in Canada.

The x-rays obtained allow us to assess for abnormalities in the chest, abdomen, bones or other areas imaged.  Any general radiograph can be provided.

The ultrasound examinations are able to assess for deep vein thrombosis, look for pathology in the abdomen and pelvis and assess the status of the arteries. We perform all general and vascular ultrasound examinations.

We are able to attend these facilities on an "as needed basis" or at regularly scheduled prearranged times throughout the week according to the facility's health services programs.

Diagnostic images are reviewed and reported promptly by the radiologist.

Typing of reports are performed immediately upon dictation by medical transcriptionists. Significant positive findings are telephoned to the nursing station and typed reports are sent by fax. Most of our reports are sent within 24 hours and requests for urgent reports are sent the same day.

We would be pleased to organize periodic educational seminars for your staff pertaining to Diagnostic Imaging. In addition we will arrange interactive group discussions between your staff and our technologists and management to discuss issues of mutual concern to ensure that the highest standards of care are being delivered by our team.
