How to get results and access imaging

There are several ways to get results and imaging. We are connected to eHealth systems and also have a robust cloud-based system to to allow medical practitioners access.

Authorized users with One ID account can access StL Diagnostic Imaging images and reports via provincial viewers such as Clinical Connect and Connecting Ontario Clinical Viewer.

One ID

What is One ID?

One ID provides easy and secure access to digital health services such as provincial viewers (Clinical Connect, Connecting Ontario Clinical Viewer and eHealth Portal) offered by eHealth Ontario.

Connecting Ontario

Connecting Ontario Clinical Viewer's Diagnostic Imaging portlet displays diagnostic imaging (DI) reports and images from the Diagnostic Imaging Common Service (DI CS).

The DI CS is the provincial DI repository containing reports and images submitted by hospitals and independent health facilities to the province’s three regional Diagnostic Imaging Repositories (DI-rs) (HDIRS, NEODIN and SWODIN).

StL Diagnostic Imaging contributes to SWODIN.

Clinical Connect

Clinical Connect is operated by Hamilton Health Sciences and funded by Ontario Health (Digital Services)

ClinicalConnect is a secure, web-based portal that provides physicians and clinicians with real-time access to their patients’ electronic medical information from all acute care hospitals, Local Health Integration Networks’ Home & Community Care Services and Regional Cancer Programs in South West Ontario, plus various provincial data repositories.

Clinical Connect integrates data from regional data repositories.

StL Diagnostic Imaging is one of the supporting participants in Southwestern Ontario Diagnostic Imaging Network.  All StL Diagnostic Images are available in the Southwestern Ontario Diagnostic Imaging Repository (SWO Di-R).  Authorized users with a ONE ID account can access ClinicalConnect here.

User can check with their Local Registration Authority (LRA) regarding access to Clinical Connect.

Cloud Based PACS

iConnect Access

Merge iConnect Access System is a web-based portal to access STL Diagnostic Imaging images. With Merge iConnect Access System, physicians can go to the URL on their computer systems, i.e., desktops, laptops, iPAD or other tablet, without having to download any special apps, to access images and related reports away from their imaging workstations.

The medical practitioner will be required to complete and sign "Remote Access Agreement" and send it back to StL Diagnostic Imaging PACS team for account activation.

Contact our PACS administrator Inderpal Dhillon for more information.

OntarioMDStL Diagnostic Imaging has partnered with Ontario-MD and are live with HRM (Health Record Manager).

HRM is an eHealth solution that enables clinicians using an OntarioMD-certified EMR to securely receive patient reports electronically from participating hospitals and specialty clinics.

HRM electronically delivers reports directly into the patient's record within the clinician's EMR, this includes Diagnostic Imaging reports.

StL Diagnostic Imaging now releases images and reports through an Access Page instead of providing a CD. The Access Page contains a unique security code for access to StL imaging in full diagnostic quality along with instructions on how to view, download and import the images through a secure web address (URL). There is no need to set up an account, download software or go through training.

The Access Page can be faxed directly to your office or provided to your patients at the time of their visit to be delivered to you.

To request imaging records from StL, please phone 1-800-268-5804 or fax requests to 1-855-374-3497.
